Morrie & Dorothy, a book for children about gender and racial equality in which best friends Morrie the stork and Dorothy the pelican apply for after-school jobs delivering babies, has been used by multiple hospitals in two different applications: one with an emphasis on “Safe Sleep,” and one as a parting keepsake gift, signed by the attending medical staff present when the baby was born with recommendations for post-natal care for mothers and babies.
